If you wish to debate the issue knock-yourself-out at the Gold Price Monitor home page. Your statement has been overly argued there. However I don't care how gold is considered as long as my DD on it is not artificially manipulated causing my investments to be artificially effect just like the shorts on this thread have done.

However if you think gold is not manipulated see the resource graph at the end of this article: thestreet.com

Jack-Gold is still a precious metal and likely to stay that way. So Britian sells a few hundred tons. World consumption is around 4500 tons a year.
Britian's sells don't even come close to covering all the short sells. The price of gold is being carefully manipulated for a variety of reasons. One day, the house of cards will come crashing down and I hope to stil own gold stock when it happens.
