Well, there's lots of areas where DELL has better business metrics. I just object to the concept of CPQ trying to catch DELL, which implies a greater similarity than the two companies currently have, and also implies that DELL is ahead in some product category.

In terms of profit margin and so on, take a look at MSFT for a real nice story - COGS is pretty low, likewise inventory... but what's the point?

In many ways, DELL's business model is really its product, and a pretty good one at that.
