Ah, shades of Korea........46 years later we are still there.

Yep... but at least they aren't killing one another enmasse. Just dealing with a few mini-subs, spies, and tunnels built under the border by the North. (who by the way were HEAVILY supported by the Chinese and Russians).

Should we have just let Stalin and his proxies in Pyongyang conquer the entire peninsula??

Has the defense of that peninsula created a strong enough example of which economic model is more prosperous for its people?? Both nations, north and south, started out at the same devastated level. Only the South prospers while the north starves.

What guilt does China bear for permitting this travesty of human oppression to occur in the totalitarian North??

Should the blood of every starving N. Korean be painted on the halls of gov't in Bejing?? Look at the result of Chinese and Russian "influence" in that country. Can the Chinese people truly be proud of the part they played in the history of a country that lies right on their border??

Keep 'em coming folks. I love the opportunity to hone my debating skills out here. You guys are good and I need the practice.

Regards,

Ron

Because the US never learns from the history.
