I had purchased my initial shares of PAIR today because the price of T-1's are dropping rapidly as competition enters the local loop. -I know, I work for a CLEC. As the price drops more companies will consider setting up T's for a dedicated link to the long distance network, frame relay, the internet, private lines or to PBX's. Most of the CSU/DSU's I see daily are pairgain. And the price of PAIR is very cheap by Internet Standards. In the internet gold rush I thought I would buy a company that is selling the shovels.

As far as DSL, I do not know PAIR's individual prospects. It seems to be wide open at this point. But this would be the gravy. I sell circuits to ISP's, and all I hear is " when are you going to have DSL ?"

Larry, thanks. That's the best post I've read on this PAIR thread in two years. Already screaming today. Let's keep the train rolling.

Lots of good news here, time to lighten up as my first target is reached. Will leverage again if we get too cheap.

Avidia will rock this baby to low 20's by year-end, but we have reached LT resistance, it will have to rattle 15-17 awhile.

Any others comment on breaking 17.5 ?
