I think the chart is starting to look good. Today is the 9th consecutive day we closed above the 200 DMA. We dipped below the 200 DMA last year on 8/1 and have not closed above it until this recent move.

Any comments from TA experts?

Get Ready for the Liberty Media announcement. The following is from SykReport.Com "Lockheed Martin Steps Up Comsat Buy Lockheed Martin reportedly wrapped up an antitrust agreement with the Department of Justice that could help the company move ahead with its proposed $3.2 billion acquisition of Comsat. Provisions include requiring Lockheed Martin to sell its 14 percent stake in Loral Space & Communications, according to Bloomberg and statements filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Lockheed Martin has said in the past that the sale of Loral shares could help it raise money for the Comsat acquisition. The company said in the SEC filing that it has negotiated terms with the government "which could form the basis of a consent order that would resolve" an antitrust review. The agreement is not yet final, Lockheed's filing said. The acquisition of Comsat could help Lockheed Martin become a serious player in the commercial satellite business."

Regarding the pool, I haven't wanted to hog bandwidth or boor people prematurely with too frequent reports on the standings so early in the contest, but be assured I'm paying attention. The pool was closed with 65 contestants, whose average entry (h/l/c) was 57.2/15.5/49.1.

The top four at yesterday's close were:

1. Mr. Proofsheet, 25/14/23
2. Bernard Levy 24/9/20
3. BrianW 32/15/19
4. crawlingbug 33/16/28

It will take a move to about 27 for cbug to unseat the present top three. The relative standings of Mr. P, B. Levy and BrianW will remain unchanged unless we make a significant new low (which helps Mr. L) or a big advance followed by a drop (needed by Brian W).
