Hello James:
I appreciate your post. You also bring up an interesting question; I 'm not sure that question has ever been brought up here on this thread, and we have had some doozies.

Personaly, I have been tempted to invest in gaming stocks however because of personal convictions I have had the strength to shy away. So lets say my Vanguard Explorer Fund has some holdings in gaming stocks: should I not invest in The Explorer Fund ?

I guess it is a matter of personal discretion or discernment whichever you would like to call it; personally it wouldn't bother me. However to invest in Promus Corporation, for example, for me, I couldn't do it with a clear conscience.

In March ,I made a big move into REIT's when the ^rms Index was 280-285. It is now pushing 330, a 17% gain and I feel it has another leg or three on the upside. I bought some WDN preferred (a residential multi family REIT ) today. The current yield is 11.4 %; not too shabby.

I "peeked" at your profile. You have a penchant for picking some winners also. I pray that you use your talents for God's ( capital G ) kingdom; because I am sure he has His hand on your future.

In Christ.gregor
