<< I can state with almost certainty that DELL will not miss their quarter and will probably exceed consensus by about 2 to 3 cents. In actual fact, looking at the IDC numbers it's virtually impossible for them to miss even with 4% sequential ASP erosion this quarter. >>

Gabriel: I like those comments. You have as much confidence in DELL as Kemble does <GG> ...I tend to think you are right on target about DELL exceeding estimates. The TRUTH will set the stock price free -- and allow it to MOVE UP to where it belongs..!!

Best Regards,

Scott

Gabriel,

I am asking MB for his data supporting his April position.

Gabriel, MB has been saying these things forever, and he has just about the same support as he ever did -- which is to say none. As you know, he and his compatriots twist the data to support their prejudices. Remember the seasonality nonsense, or the rest of his wild claims?

All indications are that Dell will have a very solid quarter. I am reckoning that they come in about $.02 above consensus. I suspect that that result may be enough to move the stock since I think there is still a great deal of wariness following the revenue disappointment of last quarter. But then, I could just as easily be wrong.
