The reaction to this incident has been irrational at best.

Apparently only if you think like an American and not like the Chinese.

For Bejing it is perfectly rational to put the screws to the US in order to get consideration on WTO trade concessions and to distract the American public mind from their Espionage of our W-88 nuclear warhead technology.

Now that's hypocritical.

Why is it that Yiwu won't answer me about China's role on the Korean peninsula?? Might he be a bit embarrassed and unable to justify it?

Btw, wasn't it the Chinese gov't who supported the Khmer Rouge and their Cambodian killing fields??

More blood on the hands of the Chinese people??

<<The reaction to this incident has been irrational at best.>>

If you look at the bombing of the Chinese Embassy as a single incidence, you are perhaps right to get the that conclusion. But if you put all things together, like the US search of so-called nuclear weapons on China's SilverRiver ship near Iran; like the US blocking of the Year 2000 summer Olympic in Beijing, like the US blocking of China for the entry to WTO ... One does not have to be smart to see a pattern here. This is why Chinese react so strong.

"The difference is that our bombing was a mistake, a stupid and embarrassing mistake, but a mistake nonetheless"

D. You think that, you believe that, you want to believe that - But you don't know that - and we never will. dd
