Awhile back, I believe E Trade gets their Icon on Sympaticos site in exchange for (?)-- cant remember. BCE was touting sympatico as the largest Canadian PORTAL, having 500000 members, In my mind they are an ISP. But, thats when they mentioned a possible alliance AOL Cdn to increase the size of the Portal...then hopefully they(BCE) could make a deal with AOL US to provide braudband services. I even saw $$ numbers quoted, but once again, all is quiet.
