Am I the only one, or do other people see MSFT developing a mega media business not so long from now? Let's see, MSFT has the software, the content, and now, the highways and pipes. While it's doing all of this, it's also buying credibility and mindshare for WINCE. All in all, not a bad way to spend $10B :)

On the other, is company [sic] sending message
that it sees cable industry offering better long-term return that MSFT itself?


As far as stockowners are concerned, MSFT can be selling curtains, as long as it keeps on making tons of money and its stock price keeps on rising.
