First of all Ron, let me thank you for the effort you have put in out in Vegas. You can be MRVs roving reporter any time you want.

John...If my memory serves me right, I think you will find the 20 dollar level was where the real war took place on the way to $5. After it broke 20 it tried for a while to get back over the 20 level again, I think that's when we lost Tex Hillman. Any other stock and I also would have departed (which would have saved me an awful lot of cash).
I guess I was blinded by the 34 quarters of growth and the analyst estimates of tremendous growth in the future. Something on the order of 35-50% a year for the next 5 years. The forecast of $1.25 for 1998 and $1.75 for 1999. And let's not forget that ill timed CC in July. I can still smell the roses.

I feel more than ever, with the new products being introduced this year and the reception they are getting at the shows, we have this type of growth ahead of us. Sooner or later any thinking ANALyst will have to start covering this company, unless they are 100% brain dead. The key may be breaking the 100 million revenue per quarter which should be taking place by Q4.

Benny

John-I think that your read of the chart is valid. The huge volume accompanying the downside at that point is instructive and persuasive. However, I would caution that technical analysis can often get thrown out the window when dealing with thin-cap issues that have a lot going on-does anyone else agree that MRVC may qualify on this point? As Regis has intimated, why should we ascribe any particular magic to 15? I guess the easy answer is our horizon. If we are short-term trading (esp. if we are leveraged into options) then the issue is vital. If we are looking for long-term capital gains of better than 7-8 times, then we are probably better off in the near term to build a stronger base here before assaulting higher numbers.
By the way, I'd sure like to see some of you take Colton up on his
SuperCom offer and help our team nail down a major alliance there to get us through this resistance on our way to 40!

Best regards,

Mike

P. S. Is there anybody else out there who recognizes how positive it is that we won a category and yet there is real disappointment that we did not win best of show?

John, I don;t think that 15 will be any resistance , I think that the real resistance lies at 14 3/8. If we close above 14 3/8 it should be clear sailing to 16 7/8.Here are the closing prices from a 10 day period last August, obviously that 11+ million share day was the big drop.
Aug.28 6 13/16
Aug.27 14 3/8
Aug.26 16 7/8
Aug. 25 17 5/8
Aug.24 17 9/16
Aug.21 18 1/8
Aug.20 18 11/16
Aug.19 18 15/16
Aug.18 20 1/8
Aug.17 19 1/16
Brings back some painful memories doesn't it?Hopefully this year we'll be going in the other direction
