Ron, Thanks for that post. I was at a Best Buy a week ago and there are a number of megapixel cameras under $400.00 right now. By Fall and the subsequent holiday season I believe that new introductions of 2.0 and greater megapixel offerings will further depress these prices and that consumers will have a well defined price range where they can feel comfortable that they are not paying top dollar for a camera which will be obsolete in 6 months as was the case with the earlier VGA resolution cameras. I currently feel inadequate with 1024 x 768 resolution. Ausdauer
