David,

Funny, yesterday (Wednesday) was the first time in about two years that I've really noticed problems with Fox software. Shortly after the open, when the market was way down due to the Robert Ruben announcement, I tried to put in a "buy" order and three times I got error signals in Fox advising me to call a broker. Finally, I was able to get the trades done, but I missed most of the dip in the Dow.

I imagine the network was simply overloaded at the moment, but it sure was a shame to miss the terrific buying opportunity. I don't know exactly what the problem was for me, but it clearly shows that online trading is NOT all it's cracked up to be. Things can and do go wrong, usually at the most inopportune time. There's a nice law to explain this, right? :-}
