tajen, This contract is about AT&T purchasing Bay Networks' LAN equipment not Nortel's telephony equipment. Do you get it? If this announcement would have come out prior to the acquisition of Bay by Nortel nobody would even have cared about Lucent's connection. Let's face it, with the exception of the new gigabit Ethernet products that Lucent has now they don't have an extensive LAN product line. Something that Bay Networks does. Pus this is an old relationship that came with Bay and was not an afterthought by AT&T. Cheers, Steve
