My own plan is that I'll let the arbs pick up a dime or two near the closing date. I think that will give me some flexibility. But, I suspect that even if one tenders, one is not obligated since the offer is usually contigent on a minimum number of shares tendered. It cannot be contractual unless it is mutually binding. Just my common sense interpretation - I'm not a lawyer.

ATT did not wait to Comcast to fail in the take over to tender its own. VLSI is currently on the block. May the highest bidder win. In this case, perhaps we have only one single bidder.
