WavePhore Previews Jamcast at E3; Enhanced Internet Entertainment
Portal Delivers Games, Music, and Movie Files

PHOENIX, May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- WavePhore, Inc. (Nasdaq: WAVO - news) will be previewing its new JamCast service at the E3 show in Los Angeles.
JamCast provides computer game, music, movie, and TV fans with an enhanced web experience by supplementing the www.jamcast.com entertainment portal with
a continuous stream of entertainment files broadcast via IP multicast and over the television airwaves. Users that don't want to wait for long downloads can receive
JamCast files without tying up their phone line by using a low cost TV tuner card. Users that have an Internet service provider (ISP) that supports IP multicasting can
tune in and receive the streaming data. WavePhore will demonstrate the capabilities of the system at the Los Angeles Convention Center (Booth 6207, Kentia Hall)
during the show May 13 to 15.

JamCast provides the hottest fat file downloads covering games, music, movies, and television. Users that are accustomed to waiting for hours to download large
files such as game demos, MP3 music and movie clips will now have files waiting for them. In addition to delivering fat files, www.jamcast.com will also include
reviews and feature articles. JamCast's initial content and e-commerce partners include some of the hottest names on the Web such as: Pseudo's AGN (All Games
Network), Reel.com, Music Boulevard, barnesandnoble.com and UltimateTV.

''JamCast is our response to customers' demands,'' said David E. Deeds, Chairman, President and CEO of WavePhore, Inc. ''In building this entertainment portal
utilizing IP multicasting and our existing broadcast technology we are able to be first to market with a product of this kind. By providing the most popular game and
music files from the web, along with the ability to purchase them, JamCast creates a tremendous revenue generating opportunity for WavePhore.''

''We are excited to be chosen as JamCast's premiere gaming content partner,'' said Scot Rubin, head of the All Games Network, AGN.com, a channel on the
Pseudo network. ''JamCast allows us to broadcast our interactive video and game demos to users without the hassle of long downloads or net congestion.''
Pseudo.com is the worlds largest Internet TV Network, netcasting more than 60 hours of original programming each week. Pseudo reaches more than 10 million
viewers monthly with 45 original shows on 9 channels. Pseudo-style netcasting is the future of broadcasting.

JamCast will facilitate electronic commerce by allowing vendors to offer ''try and buy'' programs. The growing popularity of purchasing games, music, and other
digital content over the Web will create great revenue opportunities for JamCast and its partners. The ability to deliver rich media files without the download delays
associated with modems also allows advertisers to send more creative multimedia advertisements such as movie and video clips, games, software downloads and
micro sites.

HOW JAMCAST WORKS

JamCast delivers streaming files two ways: via IP multicast and over the TV signal. JamCast broadcasts a continuous data stream over the Internet using IP
multicasting. The number of ISPs that support IP multicasting is growing and will provide a great new capability to users with ''always on'' connections. Computers
equipped with TV tuners and JamCast software transparently receive, decode and cache content without the bottleneck of the Internet or tying up a telephone line.
The TV broadcast service uses WavePhore's proprietary data delivery system and national network distribution. The JamCast receiver can be downloaded at no
charge via the Company's web site at www.jamcast.com, and will support all leading TV tuner cards.
