Do you try to misunderstand me?

'If' has at least two alternatives. If the two alternatives cover all possibilities, then there are exactly two alternatives.
You have quoted me regarding 'if caught'. Then you ask So he was counting on getting caught? Well, Bob, the fact is he has Never said what he expected or why he responded sic [sic]. He has Never been offered to Defend his action to any court that has charged him with perjury.
This is my frustration with this exercise in the study of the legal borderland. HOW DO YOU KNOW SO CERTAINLY whether he intended to get caught or not! I have to resort to all, 2, alternatives. So I paraphrased you the other, second alternative. 'If not caught' ...objection.

By the way, when you give a quote, and I give a paraphrase it looks wrong. So I used [sic]. It may have been proper to use [sic] [sic] as the [sic][sic] was also odd to bring parity between a quote and a non-quote. Clearly.
