NEWS RELEASE:
Generation Entertainment TakesLarge Step Onto Digital Ground; Free MP3 Singles at
cdmusic.com Are Beginning of Breakthrough Expansion Plan

May 13, 1999 06:05 AM
DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1999--In expectation of the massive
expansion of its premier web sites and mass-market release of its new artists over the
next 6 months, Generation Entertainment Corporation GNEN is pleased to announce it
now features free samples from its artists on its proprietary cdmusic.com
web site.

The singles will be available for download in a variety of formats, including MP3 digital.

The singles are expected to create additional revenue due to CDMusic.com's increased
banner add rates in lieu of the substantially increased site traffic. "Banner ads are a
proven source of positive cash flow on the Internet," said Warren Guth, president. "The
downloadable music clips are only going to increase traffic to CDMusic.com, and as
traffic increases some big names are going to want their banners on our site."

The downloadable singles are the first step in Generation Entertainment's forthcoming
web business and marketing program expansion. In addition to its Grammy
Award-winning expertise in old school music techniques of charting, promotion and
distribution, the Company will break new digital ground with the unfolding of its
revolutionary streaming media, digital downloading, and CD music internet ventures.

The expansion is expected to open a new era in music wealth creation for its artists and
revenue generation for its labels by combining the best of old school music techniques
and the new school of e-business.

Generation will also harness the power of free MP3's to bring the most value to its
music customers, while utilizing its full suite of products and services to maximize the
financial success of its artists and labels.

Generation Entertainment's music can be found on most major music web sites such as
Amazon.com, in popular brick and mortar stores including Sam Goody and Wal-Mart,
in new video games by Microsoft's VR-1 division, and on Black Entertainment
Television (BET) music videos.
