Larry, you've taught me the distinction between countenance and tolerance. That is about all. I would still choose, countenance, since your philosophy recognizes no antidote--a disease uncured is more than tolerated. I am not unfamiliar with libertarianism, but despite what I admire in it, I see problems it does not address, and solutions it rules out. These are subtle, but fatal, distinctions.
The Libertarians I've known tend to be shrill in their passion, whereas I am obscure in understanding and being understood. Communication is difficult.

Still if you would like to seek to understand each other, I am happy and willing, if we go slow. I have become distant from the philosophy. Though not unfriendly to the fine folk that Libertarianism attracts, our philosophies are pretty incompatible.

I'll lead: Libertarians believe Force and Fraud are the only restraints society places on it's members that keep them from exercising their own free will. Yes?
