I haven't followed closely, but I have watched Cox some over the years, and even had the opportunity to meet him once, and he is smart and tough, I think. My impression is that he will end up Speaker someday, if the Republicans can hold onto the House, and if he doesn't move on before that can happen. Therefore, I think that if the Democrats are trying to screw with him, they had better watch out. This whole thing is about to blow, in my opinion...Will enough come out to get Bubba to resign? I don't know. But enough is likely to come out to have bad political repercussions on Gore and the party, and to accelerate the pace of investigation and indictment...
