check the ContinuumClient.ini file in your QCharts install directory

The server list is impressive. However I've only connected to the first two of the 14 listed, including yesterday when QCharts was limping along for hours. It kept switching from one to two and back again, but wouldn't try any others. No problems today however.

I had two LII's, 9 other charts open and two Multiple Quote windows
(monitoring about 120 symbols). The QCharts data volume meter shows about 250/bytes per second. NO PROBLEM!!!

Do you know what modem speed connection is required to reliably handle 250/bytes per second? Are there any rules of thumb here? 250 bytes per second doesn't sound like a lot, but your list of charts and symbols does sound like a lot of data to update constantly. Isn't a 28.8 modem 28,800 bytes per second? Perhaps processor speed and RAM are the more important factors.
