Burke and Lucretius Taurus are smokin off the same pipe. Remember, last Friday LT confidently told us he was going to short at the open (40 1/4). I hope he and Burke have some smokes left as the pain must be excruiating. Here comes 46. LT, cover now if you are listening.

To All: A feather in Kemble's cap.....

Last year, at Dell's shareholder meeting, Kemble mentioned to several of us that he had heard, thru his impeccable sources, that MD and management were keen on splitting the stock 5 times in the next 5 years...

At the time, several scoffed at Kemble, and thought "Oh, there goes Kemble again", or, at least, that he was off-base on this one...

Well, the K-man is having the last laugh! Since then, Dell has split twice, and is looking to increase the number of shares outstanding (again). We could have 3 splits in the bag within less than 2 years of Kemble's "prediction"!

That would leave (more than 3 years) for 2 more splits to take place...Could happen, no doubt...

** Morale: It often pays to listen to Kemble! **

BTW- Inflation is flat-lining..time for the bond to wake up!
