Perhaps, but perhaps the Tibetans have a legitimate gripe, especially since the Communist government is not known for its sensitivity to religion or civil rights. Anyway, I will tell you that I predict the break- up of China anyway. The central government has always had difficulty controlling the provinces, and with many dialects that are practically different languages, and many different customs, and different rates of economic development, I doubt that China will survive intact for another 50 years....

They are not intentionally lying. They just assume the info they have is reliable and correct, and in fact they are Euro-centric
