I think I'm going to cry...I just went over my old taxes and saw I made $3000 on Dell selling it 4/22/92, bought 300 shares on 12/18/90.I calculated all the splits since my sell (6 x 2/1 splits), I now would have 19,200 shares at $45 = 864,000. My worth is not even near this amount. Did it with CSCO also bought 400 shares in 92, it's now worth about $500,000, but sold in 93 for a pretty good profit (or so I thought). So I could have lost all my money on everything else and I'd still be over a millionaire. Instead I thought I was a good investor and never lost too much money on any stock, bought in many winners, avoided bear markets, read charts, watch earnings closely....Anyway you can get the picture.
