Joan, thank you so much for your excellent post. I've been mulling all this, and looking around a lot here at SI. Certain names keep popping up, as I said, but the shakin' has just begun. I've got both satellite and cable (for local channels), and the cable reception is dreadful. I'm looking for a faster i'net connection so am mulling it around. I see where steve lower case aol has aligned with Directv, but I will not use aol as my ISP.
Just food for thought right now; will chew on it for awhile. Thank yuou again for your time and consideration. 909s2u x 3, at least!

Hiya Joanie (and other techride pals),
Sure am liking what I'm seeing with the CNXT! Already a quarter of the way to a 909'er for me, and still looking mighty strong! Thank your for tugging my coat on that one!
Did you see the wireless portfolio I sent you? Wow! I think many of those stocks listed are possible 909'ers also!
Got a strong feeling that you're right on concerning the Internet Telephony. You know the Bigs aren't going to give it up that quick! Especially since they (primarily) own the wire. Yep, if you're going to go looking at an I-tely company to invest in, well, you better find one that is a likely buy-out candidate, because if not, Goliath will definitely stomp it before it goes prime time.
Now as for the aforementioned wireless, if you want to believe it's an important up and coming technology (MMDS and DSL), just look at some of the latest PR's from Sprint, AT&T, WCOM, and other communications giants. Those guys are getting excited about it too!
daylight 909's to my pals,
-Joe
