To CObando: George can of course answer better than I. But in the meantime, CDMA for cable does work. As with the Q's use of CDMA in wireless, the use of CDMA on wire helps when there is poor quality and therefore noise (interference). It permits high quality transmission through relatively dirty pipes. FYI Both Broadcom and Terayon have been chosen to prepare the next major cable standards upgrade. To date more major TERN contract wins have been outside the US than here. Chaz
