Craig, I can only guess that if you put in a market order, they could voluntarily give you something between the bid and the ask. This would assume that they have something in inventory for which they paid less than they are selling it to you for. I suspect that they would only do this is they think that the price is going to go down, in which case you would have been better off putting in a limit order.

This is only speculation. Who really knows? You could ask them.
