IBM is bragging again. I am wondering if Lou counts AOL or CSCO in the group. The internut index sure counts both them.

This from the man who "knew" Compaq was having a great 1st quarter, because Earl said so?

Michael, please don't mention E**l and C*mp*q. Both words have been banished from my vocabulary <g>.

I could be wrong on Dell, but, if they don't die this quarter, it is certain next quarter.

Yes you could. And don't be so certain. Being "certain" can get you in trouble, as I know first hand.

And they wouldn't be running all this e-commerce flim flam if they had confidence in computer growth.

Growing other businesses is simply a rational business approach. Statements like this lead me to believe its you that lacks the confidence, not DELL.
