That is a Super interview!

A good history of how Unix, etc. was developed.
A good overview of how people have FUN (work?) at Bell Labs.

Imagine that EPAC gets approved by SMDI and Lucent and RealNetworks immediately and jointly announce that they have a 35,000 EPAC music library to choose from thanks to Ken Thompson.

LOL! Great interview! It gives you a clear read on him. I remember seeing a picture of him and his UNIX co-founder. They were both wearing a standard A.T.T./Bell Lab's employee picture ID. But if you looked reeeeeal closely at the pictures on those ID's you'd of discovered the faces had been overlayed with character's from a popular movie of the time. The characters? Gremlins! Heh!
