Been there done that. Solution: Compose all long posts
on a word processor then copy them over to SI.

Next time try your back button to see if your computer still has it. Not sure but I think this works.

Guess it only works on netscape. I've currently got Explorer open and it won't keep cpy evidently.

If the message you got was that Squid got a zero byte message, or some such, hit your back button, copy all the text from your reply, hit back again until you get the original message, click the Respond link and try again; almost always works.
