It's good to have a seed of doubt to keep you guessing. If it were so obvious, it wouldn't happen. You should worry when there are no bears.

I've seen this phenomenon over and over again with stocks poised for a huge move...the market makers and analysts have their own agenda and will do everything in their power to shake your conviction so they can get your shares. Don't watch the intraday swings and most importantly, DO NOT SELL.

Hey, I was on the NTBK thread too when it was small (when it was Atlanta Internet Bank). That stock baffled me, I couldn't understand how it was doing so poorly compared to other Net stocks despite being quite profitable, quickly growing and in a sector of economy undergoing a major revolution.

All banking (and most financial services), logically, can be done most efficiently online. And NTBK was a market leader (the other netbanks were bleeding red ink like crazy or had too many assets tied in brick&mortar anchors) but I figured the market knew something I didn't since it went down the shithole so I eventually bailed out. If I didn't I could've have retired from my job when it hit 249 in mid-April. If I would only trust my instincts instead of hitting the panic button so much. Oh well, at least I'm getting decent yields as a NTBK customer.

over there (liked it when it was small). Lycos seems to fit the bill since it's pretty small.
Thanks for all the recommendations info, which should I chose?? Man another sad
commentary on analysts. All they need is one to put out a sell and we got the whole lot.
