I wouldnt be suprised if you were right, since the lawyers are keeping everyone "safe". But what if each layer was gauranteed by it's creator? Is it stupid to expect that Windows 2000 and Office 2000 will be gauranteed y2k compliant? I think y2k compliancy could also be the next "killer ap" in the consumer computer market. It already is in the business market.
