Black-Scholes - No, you wake up.

From the article you posted:

<Another key player, America Online Inc., has joined with telephone companies in recent months, and this week launched an Internet television venture with Hughes Electronics Corp.>

The Hughes set-top box uses an Intel Pentium.

Intel has it's own StrongARM as well as IA32-PCOAC stuff in the pipe.

The set-top market is virtually undefined at this point. Why the sense of panic? Also, many people thing set-top WON'T take off until there is a sufficient IA32 infrastructure in place to take advantage of a HUGE installed base.

Intel is not ignoring this space. If your not getting sufficient updates, or if things just aren't moving fast enough for you, I don't know what to tell ya'. I have responded to you once before telling you to keep looking for initiatives, strategic alliances, and acquisitions if necessary. That was last week. Also, if you have been listening to intel execs in public for the last year, you would know that intel foresees a more appliance based market forming. Maybe, Black-Scholes, the somebody that's going to drive this thing is totally out of your view. In the mean while, there IS a HUGE PC / SERVER /WORKSTATION market out there that needs to be serviced, to the tune of billions of dollars a year in profits.
