Well since my voice has been silent for the most part over the last week or 2 I thought I might chime in. Given the large increase in banter it surely shouldn't offend.

Everybody is saying that it is MicroOS that everybody likes, but Windows 98 works just find with a portable digital music player.

I think it is "entirely possible" that EDIG is sought after because of its digital engineering expertise in general and not MicroOS specific. For example, EDIG was the first to:

Introduce a digital recorder featuring non-volatile flash memory
Link a portable digital recorder to the PC
Link a portable digital recorder to the Internet
Utilize removable flash memory cards in a digital voice recorder
Record CD quality music on CompactFlash, and
Playback CD quality music on CompactFlash

Impressive list, but did you notice that I did not mention MicroOS in that list?

I think most people assume MicroOS is the reason EDIG is so popular because that is the only tangible thing they have to grasp. Heck, they don't work for EDIG, so they don't know what EDIG and its clients talk about.

Even Renwick Corporate Finance, Inc. compares EDIG to CDN because of its contract design and development services.

Don't miss understand me (again), I think MicroOS is valuable, but EDIG is more than just an operating system company.
