Hi rocki: just back from a good round of golf -to be topped off by a great post by you. Thnks for the insight(also SLY for the acquisition canditates. ) Just clairfy my concernes-the delays I was was concerned about was the Transpoint -slow implementaion of software and services. Anyway enough on that. Yes indeed you are confirming the gut feeling I had that Emergis was after a portal agreement.--its a must!!! Then we are really in the big game. IFM as SLy has pointed out is trying to become unique-networking internet services company. So agree this will take a little time. Thats OK with me. Love to see it BASE here at 42 ish. When we have the right announcments we will allbe greatly rewarded. If Bell wants controlling interest in a "high traffic WEB site" they will have to go buy one. Buying an establihed one will cost US$ 5 billion+ at current market cap prices. I dont think Bell has that kind of money to spend, so the other alternative is to join pieces together---sympatico etc.. So the CAnoe /Sympatico make a lot of sense. Where does that leave Total Net? Guess they will have to sell or merge it with Sympatico. Anyway I intend to go to the May 19th meeting at the Hotel Marriot. Maybe a few of us that live here in MTL and write on this thread can meet at this meeting. You, me, Sly, Ruby etc. What do you think? Rgds salva
