Ok folks. I am trying to get a feel as to how much promise this new Unity IP has. In that vein I went to TVontheWEB(http://www.tvontheweb.com) and asked a question via their message board to Dave Gardy,president-CEO of TVontheWEB about this product. Q): Recently a company called Wegener introduced a solution for the transmission of high bandwidth internet data via satellite. Is this type of technology benificial to your industry's particular needs? I believe the 50MBPS is the highest rate thus far. A)Thanks for the info. I'll forward it to Doug Dougherty, our engineer. While he did not directly address the question I think it shows that if Wegener can get the word out and begin to promote and advertise their solution to the industry that it will serve there will be a market for it. I am going to try to call Mr. Gardy and see if I can speak to him directly to try to gauge exactly what type of data rate and satellite bandwidth utilization they need before it is a better alternative to landlines.
