Doughboy,
CSCO is 6x larger in annual revenues. Tellabs has $1.8 billion in trailing 12 month sales. Cisco has $10.9 billion.

Comparing the two is a bit difficult because they supply completely different products to help build the networks needed due to the growth of the Internet. TLAB is in the carrier space and wants to be in data. CSCO is in data space and wants to be in the carrier.

TLAB's five year projection will be quite dependent upon how they move into the data space (packet world). CSCO's future depends upon how they move into the carrier space.

Two quite different companies, but both KEY players in the networks of tomorrow.
