David, This press release comes out 3 hours before the end of the show! This is classic........3 Stooges stuff......Gotta love it. This must be rock bottom. I'm laughing.......but I should be crying. I really do like IDX........but holy cow......I'm not sure my heart can take it. The shorts love this stuff.........Jeeesh. bg ps. OK...OK....lots of secrets in the release......still funny as heck.

David, You forgot two other items - a new affiliation with Entrust and USB connection capability: -Fingerprint/Smartcard logon to Entrust PKI network - replaces PIN access and enhances security with biometric solution -USB connection of DFR readers demonstrates an option to parallel port connections with faster, dedicated mechanism and simplified cabling. You are correct is observing that this new software effectively neutralized the competitive advantages URU had over us, and URU's run about $650, don't they? I hope this new software works with the "old" $99 Compaq scanner. I would certainly volunteer to test it. Does the Entrust connection and "use of a fingerprint as a digital signature in a digital certificate via a GEMPLUS card (think Verisign)" mean we are less likely to hook up with Verisign now? P.S. For some reason, it doesn't appear that this announcement came from Allen & Carron.
