set top boxes will be hooked up mostly through fiber optic cable lines, giving us a much faster connection to the internet. just being connected to media one right now, and i have a fraction of the problems i had before. any problems we encounter after that will be attributed to the sites you visit and there server load, etc..., yes, i agree, they wont come from the box itself,

but you would think by then that we will we see upgrades in all areas, and we wont have the same problems we have now. why dont we have to wait for a station to download when we change the channel on the tv ? the internet is going to be broadcast over the same medium. i know you are going to want to get technical, but i am willing to bet that when we have set top boxes you wont wait for anything. just my thoughts. im now looking for an argument i just dont underestimate how amazing and how fast technology changes today.
