Well, Satellite Access is a division of NCT - their web page is at satelliteaccess.com.

From their web site:
Global Internet Access over the Satellite Access Business Network starting at 1.7 million bits per second available anywhere in the world, except the extreme North and South Poles.

Hmmm, global internet access via satellite, but you have to go to Florida to experience it. I guess if you live in Florida, anywhere else must seem like the extreme North or South Pole. I looked at their web site, and I can't even figure out what they are selling - they mention satellite dishes, internet access, compression and protocol software, but there's no indication what the actual product is, let alone any indication of price.

Also from their web site:
Immediate access to America On-line at T1 or greater speed via satellite to our main office in St. Petersburg and out to the internet via multiple leased lines.

I'm not sure why any business would want to access AOL through a satellite link. And I doubt any personal customer could afford to do so.

Regards,
Craig

I was told by someone at NCT's sattelite access office that the only way to see the products and get prices was to come by their office in St Pete, FL.

With this kind of sales and marketing department, even if they had the best available technology, they wouldn't be making very many sales. Did this person at least clue you in to what the products are?
