I do not equate a company that used to sell a product through normal supply channels and then sells the same products via the internet to the same customer as innovative.

To then go on to proclaim that just because their e-business comprises 25% of sales or revenues the new Inet companies are not going to make it. IBM has simply made what amounts to an accounting change.

Product i which customer x was going to buy anyway, is sold through the ecommerce channel vice the traditional channel. I want to know about real top line growth not about a shell game.

I want to know why IBM isn't jacking its jaw about LOTUS. The notes platform was going to revolutionize the world and the internet according to LOU. Bottom line, IBM still isn't an innovator in the Internet space. It is a great follower, strap hanger, hey me too kinda company when it comes to the internet.

I'll give them their due, when it comes service - they are top notch and have global reach.
