I've been asked this question so many times (mostly, as here, in a PM) that I feel I must give a public response. This is not in any way to slight the current positor of the question...it's the answer that counts:

Doug,

As if I haven't asked my share of questions here already.....

At this time I would greatly like to ask you to **please** complete the statement below, and add any comments or editorial that you feel might be appropriate to elaborate your rationale:

"As an experienced trader looking for short-term gains (~5 days), before taking a long position in stock XYZ I would absolutely and without exception check on the ____(A)____ indicator, to make certain that ____(B)____."

Thanks very much,

My answer:

It's nowhere near as simple as that. The only way that I know of that you can give yourself the opportunity to answer that question (even though the answer is far more complicated than the question) is to attend my seminar AND pay attention AND internalize the information.
You may have noticed the level of proficiency exhibited by the most frequent contributors to my thread. All of them have attended at least one of my seminars. Most of them have been to two. The information I offer at these events is highly intensive and highly effective. It cannot be done via casual correspondence over any e-channel.

I do the best I can to provide important generalities on my thread but relating the specific mechanics behind my work requires a classroom presentation. If you ever get to the point where you feel an intensive learning experience will be of benefit, send me an e-mail at tiric@aol.com and rquest details for any seminar dates that I am working on. The Airport Hilton in Philadelphia on 6/26 is the nearest date to sign up for. After that, Seattle during late August (3rd weekend is most likely).

If I could hand over the entire package of what I do over the internet...I probably wouldn't anyway. The seminar venue gives everyone the opportunity to develop a more personal working relationship as well as allowing interpersonal communicative levels of individual understanding that attenuates a spirit of teamwork and honesty within the productive flow of ideas.

It's an attitude thing...not a drive thru.
