CM,

I ROB YOU is pitching huh.

I was kind of hoping for Clemens. He is the Kobi of baseball.

Speaking of robbing, I have decided that this NICE deal will have to be a TAKE UNDER.

We are dealing from a position of strength and only a take under makes sense to me.

This rumor might of given somebody a reason to sell today. The run in the stock has been great fun but am starting to look for excuses to lighten up myself.

Next week we will do the CMVT whisper number thing again.

CM,

Lehman is saying that rumors are BS. They spoke with both companies who said "there has been no contact between the companies in weeks" and "there are currently no plans for any type or merger or combination".

Given the announcement a few days ago perhaps we might see something happen sooner than later to the Comverse Info Sys division. Since they are the likely fit for NICE, perhaps the two will get together down the road, which would unite the two heavyweights in digital recording. Makes sense to me but do we spin off CIS first; sell it to them; buy NICE and then spin off the two as one? So many questions and so little intellect. Anyone? Bueller?

BTW the baseball game was a bit of a snoozer but memorable as I went home with a baseball. I had to wrestle an 8 year old for it, who obviously did not know who he was messin with. I already signed it "Babe Ruth" and it is for sale on eBay for $5,000 if you are a collector.
