But maybe that's not it either. Maybe there's a URL to the song.

That HAS to mean something, don't you think? Yes, either that the crossing of our cyberpaths was painted in the heavens before birth, or that practically every high school choir teacher in the country has it in his soul to do THE perfect "Road Not Taken."

Aw jeez. I liked "Close to you". Thought it was pretty good songwriting. Spouse adores Carole King. And Joni Mitchell makes me have facial tics. For some reason, her melody lines make me think of paint, applied too thickly, running together.
But I do heartily approve of "correcting" the Barry Manilow problem.
