Lynnie,

Much of tech took a beating this afternoon starting with some of the internuts near 1PM; the PC sector after 3PM.

This is probably just a little bit of the Street's normal insanity which usually produces buying opportunities for those with steady nerves.

It's much more soothing to belong to the latter rather than the former group.

Best wishes as you migrate to the group in which you feel most comfortable, :-)

Ian.

Lynnie, if the stock freaks you out at times, trading is not for you.
I seldom trade myself, but have heard it requires unemotional
attention to do well. Investing it another matter. Buy on the dips.
When do you sell? I made a chart showing AMAT price vs SEMI orders.
It shows the time to sell is when orders peak, or just before.
Hard to do since we get the orders number almost a month late from
SEMI. There will be much guessing on this board, so that can help
you decide.

I assume you're aware that analysts and gurus have sometimes
in the past touted the stock the most just before it started
a long decline.
