the question is. what have you done for me lately ? im still kicking myself for not seeing that obvious double top at 200, instead of being in love with a company.

gnet has gone down steadily but surely every day.

in comparing %'s. the scary thing is the last big big run it took. from 66 to 142. it fell back down to about as low as the mid 70's before picking back up again. that would be exactly equivalent to an additional 20 points on the downside from here. coincidentaly or not, about were P.A. wants his remainder.

im starting to think that a earlier post is correct. because this deal is not a done deal yet, and the lack of any significant news, (there has been none, those aqcuisitions were tiny) i think that something is going on with paul allen getting his shares after all. and if this is true, it really is pissing me off now. if you really stop and think about it, go2net has been anything but aggressive with its stock price in the last couple of months. i dont care what you people say, part of management job is to MANAGE the stock price as well.

even when they announced earnings, russell said we cant expect these kind of returns in the future. its like i said before, if someone of paul allen's stature buys something, he doesn't do it half assed. i dont care about control of the board, i would bet anything that he won't let majority ownership slip by him. come on people think about who were talking about here. this isnt ronald mcdonald. 34.2 % of a company to a bilionare like him is peanuts. he wants the majority. i know a lot of people will disagree with this. but, i dont care. i am absolutely convinced of this now. further more, a stock trades a certain way (down) 99 % of the time for a reason.

him buying this company has been a rollercoaster ride. i just cant wait for it to be over, and it will be soon. at least from here, we are absolutely sure that the down side is at a minumum. can you hold on through it ? i am going to. and i am going to get that go2net credit card and max it out at 100 if we ever get there !

Sarkie,
I just love getting messages from people like you that have been in the stock for such a long time and been lucky enough to capitalize on the run up. Unfortunately, not all of us out there are as smart as you. I'm not afraid to say I paid a little more and have tried to hang on, having faith in the company, only to see my investment in total dollars decrease by something in the low 5 figure range.

In hindsight, should I have sold? Perhaps, but I still have faith in what GNET will be able to do. Is it frustrating to see it sink day after day? Absolutely. Do I want the the company to do what they can to stop the erosion of the stock price? Absolutely. Is 655.8% YTD increase good enough for me? You answer that.
