Mr.Fun, Did you see this?

cbs.marketwatch.com

Some Cisco shareholders at
SiliconInvestor see a telecom future for Cisco. Mr. Fun
..."I believe that Cisco will get more than just the tiny
portion of the voice market. I don't think it will happen
overnight but there are strong indications that the market
likes the idea of one network supporting all traffic. But
the general market will not accept a solution that does
not offer the same levels of reliability and features that
are enjoyed with current voice solutions."

And from Gary ..."What many fail to realize is that
Cisco has a nice hold on the data world. Old world
(telephony) companies have to run like hell to simply
KEEP their customers. Cisco on the other hand is now
in front of a market 5 to 10 times larger than they
originally played in. It's like a kid in a candy store. Will
Cisco dominate the converged networks of
tomorrow? Maybe not, but they don't have to." Same
vision from Eric ..."Cisco's fundamental business plan
is executing almost flawlessly. They are doing better
than even I would have expected. Lucent is a great
company but I'm waiting to see how they will defend
their turf. The REAL money will be made in the new
infrastructures. Lucent is supporting the OLD WORLD
and is trying to ramp up to the new world. Cisco doesn't
have that baggage to deal with."

Given that techs got slapped today we will just have to see if we are about to go into another rotation or if this was just a hiccup. I don't think that lower lows are on the way.
