Confusing market action. Hard to judge the cause for the drop. Profit taking seems to be a natural explanation but I wonder why people would sell so close to the merger and ATHM share conversion. Could it be that MMs played the stops to pick up shares more cheaply in preparation for the conversion and ATHM 2-1 split?

Lou Gersner's comments also played a big part in the sell-off. Big Lou was whinning and analysts loved it.
