Yahoo! Taps Mpath's HearMe.com for Live Audio Chat

Yahoo! Incorporates HearMe.com Live Audio Into Pager for Instant Messaging

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1999-- Mpath Interactive, Inc. (Nasdaq:MPTH - news) today announced that Yahoo! Inc. is incorporating live audio from Mpath's HearMe.com(TM) service (www.hearme.com) into Yahoo!® Pager (pager.yahoo.com), Yahoo!'s popular instant messaging product.

Through the agreement, Mpath's live-audio capabilities from HearMe.com have been integrated into Yahoo! Pager. Mpath is hosting the live-audio services for Yahoo!. Working with Mpath, Yahoo! has built audio communications features into Yahoo! Pager, enabling consumers to interact and talk privately in real-time using voice, music, and other forms of audio.
