DD, The potential for conflict with the KLA is EXACTLY the reason that NATO forces have to be involved. The command and control structure and cooperative training that NATO troops undergo may prove necessary to counteract any aggression by frustrated KLA forces, not just Serb formations. UN peacekeeping forces clearly lack the heavy firepower and support that may prove necessary to ensure the security and deterrent force that will be required to preserve any truce until reconciliation can be achieved (if ever).
